Back this work
Help us solve human performance. We are doing it without venture capital.
TechnicallyFit is an independent company built by a small team. Your support funds full-time work on the TechnicallyFit Engine, the open training engine behind everything we make.
Give once, any amount from $1, or $10 a month and up.
Why we're building this
Performance needs the science and the engineering in the same room
Most people who train never get either one. We think how a body adapts can be worked out, written down, and put in everyone's hands. That takes years of focused work, and this is how we intend to pay for it.
I spent high school wanting to be a professional athlete. My circumstances did not give me the chance to pursue it.
In college I studied physics, then moved into computer science. I kept training, because I cared about what my body could do. So people who met me assumed I was an athlete, not a computer scientist. Around athletes, I was the nerd. I am a nerd. In those rooms I wanted to be an athlete, and in the others I wanted to be seen as a computer scientist.
For a long time that felt like not belonging anywhere. Now I think it is the reason I am the right person for this problem.
I want to do this work full time. If it matters to you too, you can help us keep going.

Where it goes
What your support pays for
The open engine
Full-time work on the engine that turns a goal into a training program, and releasing it as open source.
The research
Testing how training should adapt to a person, and publishing what we learn.
Free for the people who train
Teammates train free in perpetuity. Your support helps us keep that promise while we answer to coaches and the people they train.
